DONATE TIME!

Volunteers are the backbone to our organization and we are always in need of your time.

We have many opportunities for volunteers.  Whether you have a few hours to donate or you would like to be involved on a larger scale, we are grateful and in need of your time.

Opportunities include:

  • Application Committee: Help us review applications submitted by Westland residents, make follow up calls to applicants, or just be available to pick up applications at area drop-off points. Only a few hours, or as much as you can donate during November & December.
  • Toy & Food Committee:  Assist in the drop-off and pick-up of collection boxes located throughout Westland that area businesses host as donation collection points.
  • Distribution Day & Sorting Day: We need volunteers to help organize & box all donated items before the Distribution Day. On Distribution Day we need volunteers to help our recipients through the "pick-up" process.  Both events are held at the Westland Senior Center.  Only a few hours or up to a 2 day commitment.
